In a new video tutorial, ELPHNT presents an overview of the sidechaining possibilities in Ableton Live

Sidechaining is a technique that’s used in almost all styles of music, from chart-topping pop to hard-hitting techno. Frequently, those speaking of “sidechaining” refer specifically to sidechain compression (the widely-heard pumping sound that moves in time with the pulse of a song’s kick drum pattern). However, the possibilities certainly don’t end there, with many other sidechaining options in Live.

Check out ELPHNT’s new video tutorial, which includes a recap on sidechain compression, plus other tips and tricks on using Auto Filter, Gate and more.
